Faith Stepping Stones

How do they help?
1. Welcome the birth of new babies (or adoption of children)
2. Plans, supports, implements the following faith stepping stones:
- All Saints Sunday recognition of the newly baptized (Musical Shakers)
- Enrollment into Sunday School (Read With Me Bibles)
- Bread of Heaven (make Communion Bread - Fall, all ages)
- Cup of Blessing (decorate a communion glass - Spring, 2nd Graders & up)
- My Bible (3rd Graders) and Read Gospel of Mark Bible Challenge
- Enrollment into Confirmation (end of 6th grade year)
- High School Graduation Baccalaureate (quilts or comforters)
These Faith Stepping Stone workshops are all tied into a time when we bring the families up to the altar for a special blessing and presentation of a symbolic gift such as shakers for newly baptized, Bibles for 3rd graders, quilts or afghans for high school seniors, etc.
3. Plans, organizes, and implements the annual summer Vacation Bible School.
