Music Opportunities
Objective
Worship God with music! We express faith with our God given talents, gifts and abilities. Through choirs, solos, instruments and ensembles, we lead the corporate body of Christ into a deeper level of worship.
Opportunities
Chancel Choir: Our Chancel Choir leads our worship services three to four Sundays a month alternating between the 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services. They prepare music of all styles at their regular Wednesday evening rehearsals held at 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
WHO: High school students through Adult
Trinity Praise Band: Our Youth Praise & Worship band leads worship the second and fourth Sundays of the month at the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Rehearsal begins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday preceding the Sunday they perform.
WHO: 8th grade through high school students
Kids’ Bells: Kids’ Bells is an introductory bell choir to prepare our children for the more complicated music pieces of the Youth Bell and Adult Bell choirs. Rehearsal is on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Each session lasts for four to five weeks. Kids’ Bells provide special music for our worship services.
WHO: 4th grade through 9th grade students
Youth Bells: Youth Bells is our intermediary bells group. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evening from 4:50 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Youth Bells provide special music for our worship services once a month.
WHO: High school sophomore through seniors
Adult Bells: Adult Bells is our advanced bell choir. We need 13 dedicated ringers to play our 5 octaves of handbells and 5 octaves of Choir Chimes. This group rehearses on Wednesday evening from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
WHO: Adults
Instrumentalists: Instrumentalists are a wonderful addition to our worship services and are encouraged to play solo, in ensembles or accompany a choir anthem.
Worship Assistant: Vocalists are needed to lead singing the Liturgy and hymns at your choice of worship service on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. or Sunday at 8:15 a.m. or 10:45 a.m.
Accompanist: An accompanist to provide music once a month (or more) for our Saturday worship service at 5:30 p.m.
Vocalist: Solo or Duet; regularly or for special music at your choice of worship service on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. or Sunday at 8:15 a.m. or 10:45 a.m.
