How do they help?
Outreach Ministry
The Outreach Ministry's objective is to coordinate the local, national and international outreach programs in support of the OSELC core value, "Serving with Jesus Every Place," with our focus being part two of the churches three-fold vision, "Service Adventures with the Poor and Poor in Spirit," and to develop and support advocates who lead these programs.
Outreach Team
The team meets throughout the year to evaluate new mission/outreach opportunities, review status of upcoming activities, review budget to expenditure report, and evaluate completed outreach activities for learning improvements and next steps.
Outreach Advocate
Each Outreach opportunity will require a Outreach Advocate. The advocate’s role will be to lead outreach program, build and develop relationship with receiving the organization, ensure Our Savior’s objectives are aligned with receiving organization, obtain and recruit resources, and provide a quarterly update to the Outreach Ongoing Ministry Team on activities and participation.
Outreach Participant
Each outreach opportunity requires individuals willing to serve. The participant’s service can be one time for one mission/outreach activity or multiple times for one or more mission/outreach activities.
