Stewardship

How do they help?
1. Selects and administers an annual fall stewardship emphasis program educating members on Biblical stewardship principles.
2. Develops Biblical, faith-based messages that are added to the quarterly financial statements sent to all members.
3. Develops creative ways of communicating the principles of Biblical tithing through bulletin and/or newsletter announcements, “temple talks,” slide show or YouTube-type announcements.
4. Develops and administers special giving opportunities through memorials, bequests, an endowment fund, and semi-annual special wish list.
5. Recruits, oversees and supports the weekly ministry of “counters” for church offerings.
6. Encourages the Sunday School children in their stewardship and offerings.
