Meet Pastor Justin Kierzek

Welcome, Pastor Justin!

We are excited to welcome Pastor Justin Kierzek to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church! Get to know a little more about Justin, his family, his background, and his heart for ministry.

A Little About Pastor Justin

Justin grew up near Milwaukee and graduated from Martin Luther High School. He earned a degree in Political Science from UW–Milwaukee and a Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary in St. Paul.

Before entering ordained ministry, Justin worked in education and nonprofit leadership, serving as a middle school teacher, assistant principal, and youth leadership director. These experiences helped shape his passion for helping people discover their gifts and find meaningful ways to serve.

His Heart for Ministry

Connection is at the heart of Justin’s ministry. He believes the church should be a place where everyone feels they belong—children and adults, longtime members and newcomers, and people at every stage of faith.

He values listening, building relationships, teaching, preaching, and working alongside congregations to discover where God may be leading.

Justin and his wife, Christine, have been married for 12 years. Christine is a high school special education teacher, and together they have three children: Alice, Jon, and Lily.

The family lives in the Milwaukee area in the home Justin’s grandfather built.

Outside of ministry, Justin enjoys kayaking, spending time with family and friends, cheering for the Brewers, Packers, and Bucks, and finding plenty of reasons to laugh.
