Welcome to the Confirmation Ministry at Our Savior's Evangelical Lutheran Church!

Confirmation is a journey of faith for students in grades 7–9. Through worship, learning, service, and community, students grow in their understanding of God's love and their identity as disciples of Jesus Christ.

At Our Savior's, Confirmation is not simply a class. It is an opportunity to discover how God is active in our lives and how we are called to live as faithful followers of Jesus.

Together we will explore Scripture, Lutheran teachings, worship, service, and the promises made at Baptism.

WHAT IS CONFIRMATION?

Confirmation is a ministry that helps young people grow into their baptismal identity.

At Baptism, parents, sponsors, and the congregation promised to support a child in faith. During Confirmation, students begin claiming those promises as their own.

The journey culminates in the Affirmation of Baptism, when students publicly affirm their faith and recommit themselves to a life of Christian discipleship.
