July 28th at 2:00 pm – English Tea & Fashion Show $25
Held at the Sussex Civic Center N64 W23760 Main St, Sussex, benefiting Redeem and Restore Center. Refreshments will include: tea, scones, tea sandwiches, petit fours. The unique fashion show will offer the opportunity to purchase the modeled items. Checks payable to Our Savior’s by July 16th and contact Linda Arshem at 414-520-5553 or firstname.lastname@example.org so she can coordinate the table and car pool arrangements or with any questions.
Ten Chimney’s Tour
2018 Tour Season runs May 13th-December 2nd. Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 am-2:30 pm and Sunday, 12:00 pm-2:30 pm. Contact Deb Nollen at 262-367-6000 x 19 email@example.com and dates will be coordinated with those interested.
Full Estate Tour: $35 per person Thank you, Beth Eckels for $10 off coupons for everyone who would like to attend! This tour provides the optimum Ten Chimneys experience. It includes the three-story Main House, the rustic Studio, the Enchanting Cottage, the restored gardens, and the exteriors of the Poolhouse, Greenhouse, and Creamery. Approximately two (2) hours.
Kathleen Walrath will present the following Master Gardener programs here at Our Savior’s. Each will last 1 hour with time for Q & A. They are independent programs so you may attend one or come for all three.
August 15th at 7:00 pm – Stay Green and Keep God’s Earth Clean – learn how easy a home composting system can be. From start to finish, you’ll learn the how-to basics and the remarkable benefits of starting, maintaining and using compost. It’s not just the cows!!
September 20th at 6:30 pm – Basic Garden Design – planning a perennial garden or just need to rejuvenate an existing one? This presentation will provide the tools to design the garden you have been dreaming of. Plan now for a beautiful garden next summer!
October 13th at 8:30 am – Divide and Conquer – Fall is one of the best times to divide your perennials. Dividing established plants can rejuvenate the plant as well as provide years of beauty elsewhere by transplanting the divisions or sharing with friends. Learn the how’s and why’s of dividing your perennials and transplanting the divisions.
August 28th at 6:00 pm – Women’s Fellowship Salad Potluck held at Our Savior’s or in a host home (if someone has room to host). A sign up on the Kiosk and signup genius will be available in early August.
Sunday, October 7th at 2:30 pm – 1860s Tea in the Afternoon
Stagecoach Inn Museum, 1075 Pilgrim Parkway, Brookfield Cost is $15 per person and includes: a selection of teas; tea sandwiches; a selection of scones, biscuits, or fruit breads; fresh fruit; cookies, tarts, pies or cake; tea or lemonade served in the historic dining room of the Inn and a docent led tour of the Inn. Since this is a museum and the table service is fragile, the tea is not appropriate for children under age 7. Pre-registration with pre-payment are required to save our spots.
